Waiting For Approval
My intentions are good. With fingers crossed behind my back I am writing my second blog. It is my goal to post everyday....we shall see.
My mother in law is going to be in my apartment today...no big deal I suppose...but, I am in a whirlwind of cleaning. Oh, this brain of mine...spinning compulsively picking up debris from my universe and creating a traffic jam of unmeasurable clutter.
Joyce is a gracious 'Georgia Peach'. I always enjoy our visits...even though I am no longer with her son, I will not let such a thing come between me and the people I love...
I must complain today...my 'magical' magnetic pen is not working properly. I have become acustomed to operating my computer with this wonderful device....pfft

Poetry Book in the works. ETA, January.
I am working on the final edit for my first book. I have been a writer for many years...and...I have one hundred or so short stories in the pipeline. Never have I imagined that my first time out the gate would bring a collection of poems. I have not met my deadline. In addition to the poetry book, I am working on a one act play based on the back story of inspiration for the poems. I will announce the day that this work is available for purchase. It will be on Amazon.com and available at readings. Schedule for readings will be posted as soon as the details are on paper.
Here is a sample of the poetry from the book....
'and here we share the sadness
praying for the goodness
looking for a smile or two
before we weep'
......................

Knowing every unspoken word
Shame asks to be excused
Exposure screams to be heard'j a bentle
